Casings come in varying widths and thicknesses depending on the style chosen, and different lengths depending on the size of the door. Large doors requiring sections higher or wider than 9’ will be finger jointed. An additional foot in length is included with each casing section to allow for job site trimming. Casing produced for the (width) of a unit is pre-cut in 4’ pieces. In the case of double doors or individual doors requiring casing spans wider than 4’, a special piece is produced.  Casing is normally shipped in a separate box with a label that associates it with a specific door.
